A Little Bit About Me
My name is Amina. I converted to Islam 5 years ago and very happy I accepted the Religion, Alhamdulillah. I am a very outgoing woman. I love to smile and laugh a lot! I also enjoy to spend time with friends and family. I love to cook and bake. I like to spend time outdoors and enjoy the scenery. I would love to travel and explore the world that Allah has blessed us with. Insha'Allah I finish my studies in which would be Micro-Biology. Forensic Science. FOR MY STORY HERE IT IS IF ANYONE IS CURIOUS AS TO HOW ISLAM FOUND ME:
One, I was born and raised Catholic but when I was 4 I remember thinking to myself that this is not right. I always looked around me and thought why are women dressed up in skirts and having their breasts showing and their hair done but yet they are coming to "church".... but way later in my life of searching what was right for me...I made a trip to the public library to find a romance novel...I went to the isle it was supposed to be in....and I thought it was so strange how all the books were all in line perfectly...except for ONE....so i went to that book to push it in to be in line with everything else but i got curious...so i pulled the book out instead...and it happened to be the Qu'ran... I dont know what happened to my mind but i ended up taking it with me and I sat down in a chair and started reading it forgetting all about what I really came to find at that Library. WHen I started reading I felt something in myself and in my heart...I never felt it before...I started to cry...after that I decided to do research about Islam and when I studied the Religion for a couple years I then decided it was what I was searching for all my life. And Alhamdulillah I decided to convert and never been happier.
